“Willy Wonka” Debuts in New Spring High Theater Jan. 28-30
Spring, TX. The Lion Players Theatre Company of Spring High School will present Roald Dahl's “Willy Wonka” at 7 p.m. Jan. 28, 29 and 30. The family-oriented musical will be the debut performance in the school’s newly renovated theater, which was completely gutted during the summer of 2009 and reconstructed into a state-of-the-art performance space.
Director Sammy Green, said “This version of Willy Wonka is based on the Gene Wilder film of the '70s. It includes familiar music, such as "Candy Man,” but several new numbers have been added as well.”

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door or online at www.lionplayerstheatreco.com. Following the performance audience members may have their picture taken with their favorite character for $5.
