KISD Finance Department Recognized for Excellence
Klein, TX. The Texas Education Agency awarded the Klein Independent School District a Superior Achievement rating under the Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability system. This award for the 2007-2008 fiscal year is the seventh consecutive Superior Achievement Klein attained. Klein’s rating reflects the district’s financial management and reporting system.
The 77th Texas Legislature in 2001 created the Schools FIRST (Financial Integrity System of Texas) rating system.

The Superior Achievement recognizes that the Klein district is accountable for student learning and for attaining academic achievement cost-effectively and efficiently.
