College Visits
Spring, TX. Students in Klein ISD will not be counted absent for up to two days during their eleventh and/or twelfth grade years, if they visit an accredited institution of higher education for the purpose of determining an interest in attending the institution. This change was adopted by the Texas Legislature and adopted as part of KISD policy.
Students are required to verify the visit(s) in accordance with district procedures. Should a parent need additional information, the parent should contact the student’s school counselor.
