Wal-Mart at Epps Island Elementary School
Spring, TX. Epps Island teacher Ms. Kendal Mathews received a Wal-Mart gift card as part of the corporation’s Teacher Rewards Program. Shown with Ms. Mathews are Ms. Rosie Torres (left) and Ms. Edna Brown (right) of the Cutten Road Wal-Mart.
Ms. Mathews said, “I want to thank Wal-Mart for the gift certificate I received. I was in the middle of a lesson when our principal, Mrs. Bevan, came over the loud-speaker and called out ten employees to come collect a gift card from two gracious Wal-Mart representatives. My students cheered and I was shocked! I am so very thankful and feel so blessed to have received this card! Thanks again to Wal-Mart for making this day so special for me!”
