Houston keeps on shining as source for NFL talent
The pipeline of talent from Houston to the NFL is close to overflowing. The city trails only Miami in the production of players who make it to the NFL such as Joseph Addai and Vince Young.
Ike causes rescheduling of Tour du Rouge bike ride
The Tour du Rouge bike ride from Houston to New Orleans, originally scheduled for Oct. 18-23 has been rescheduled to May 3-8, 2009. Hurricane Ike blew the possibility for the October dates off the map.
